Nike set out to launch the first shoe for Kylian Mbappé. He was very particular on how he wanted to be portrayed, and very adamant that this campaign and the shoe itself should be geared toward children. Nike and Kylian’s team wanted a campaign built off the insight that he is an ordinary man with extraordinary talent. Just so happens that extraordinary talent is speed. We wanted to play with that tension, showing the transformation from real to unreal in a full journey with a range of assets — TikTok and Instagram Reel teasers, a hero film, social posts, and everything in between.
